VIMA Group are delighted to welcome Simon Harrison as a Principal Consultant. Simon has extensive experience in project management and project controls and will also be heading up the P3M and Project Controls Capability at VIMA. Starting his career as a Project Manager in UK Government, Simon also has a wealth of consulting experience in the public and private sectors.
Simon has taken on some exciting roles throughout his career, predominately within Defence, including when he was the Civilian Armoured Vehicle Capability Project Manager where he delivered a number of complex, multi-million pound projects. Simon was extremely proud to deliver vital capability to the front line under very demanding timescales and requirements. Simon was also a Project Controls lead during the major DE&S transformation where he implemented P3M principles in the Maritime domain. Simon enjoyed taking the DE&S staff on the journey through transformation and seeing the significant improvements to the culture and behaviours across the whole team. Simon has also gained some fantastic experience outside of Defence including working on the Bloodhound Super Sonic Car project. Simon is extremely passionate about working with people and adding real value to help them to achieve their goals and objectives. Simon’s experience and his relentless energy and enthusiasm will be a real asset to VIMA as they continue their impressive growth.
