Ruth joins VIMA following a career within Defence Innovation, focused on cohering defence challenges, developing transformational strategies, and accelerating novel capabilities into the hands of the warfighter through the means of pan-domain iterative experimentation for both the UK MOD and international Defence Organisations. Within these roles Ruth drew on her broad background in systems engineering, project management, solution architecting, strategic communications, and technical consultancy. In Ruth’s limited spare time she is a reservist in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
On her appointment, Ruth commented, “I am delighted to be joining VIMA in a period of significant growth and focus on Digital Transformation. I’m very much looking forward to working with all the team to bring about our strategic goals, and delivering quality outputs for our clients,” Ruth also expressed that in no small part, deciding to come and work with VIMA was down to the inclusive culture and cultural ethos.”

“Ruth has a fantastic set of experience across a broad range of projects and disciplines. Underpinned like many VIMA staff with a clear understanding of Defence and engineering. Ruth will make an excellent role model for our aspiring juniors and I hope she will also find the development she is after with us.”
