VIMA are delighted to formalise our commitment to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2040. As part of our broader Social Value strategy, we have completed an exercise with our partner Go Climate Positive to establish our baseline carbon emissions footprint and a plan to achieve net zero.

Our CEO Dean Taylor said, “The process of analysing our carbon footprint has been truly enlightening and has provided insight to where we can make material, sustainable improvements towards our net zero target. The future of our planet and it’s precious resources is something that we at VIMA are passionate about and we look forward to launching the initiatives that will underpin and ideally accelerate our commitment.”

As an immediate step, from May 2022 VIMA will be offering all staff access to an Electric Vehicle salary sacrifice scheme and implementing a ‘Hybrid/Electric First’ policy for any hire car usage. We will also work collaboratively with our supply chain, customers and partners to identify where we can achieve even more together.
