What does it take to work at VIMA Group? 

Reporting to the Head of People and Organisational Development, as a member of the People Team, the Business Administrator Apprentice will support the operational, business, HR, and recruitment functions of VIMA Group. As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you will be responsible for: 

  • Supporting the People Manager with the administrative functions of HR systems. For example, proof-reading contracts, data processing, running reports for compliance purposes, keeping the integrity of data up to date, gathering employee data and collating documents. 
  • Supporting the Head of Recruitment with the administrative functions of recruitment software. For example, requesting CVs, reviewing and sifting CVs, arranging interviews and general administration tasks. 
  • Supporting with the Learning and Development function of VIMA Group by tracking interventions and budgets, ensuring that employees are logging training and evaluating the benefits of this for the business. 

As a member of the People Team, you will have the opportunity and duty to build relationships with the various business units and their people. Supported by the Head of Recruitment you will co-ordinate the task of requesting CV reviews and arranging interviews with colleagues across the business.

What do we look for in a Business Administrator Apprentice? 

As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you will be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Strong organisational, written, and verbal communications skills and a keen eye for detail. 
  • Exposure to LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and Boolean searches. 
  • An understanding of the importance of keeping detailed candidate records via a database or ATS. 
  • Confident in the use of technology, including Office 365. Willingness to learn tech skills. 
  • An ability to work remotely as part of a team. 
  • An ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines and make decisions. 
  • Desired qualifications include GCSE Level 2 in maths and English at grades C/4 or above.
